More Ride Changes

The very last drop in Space Mountain, just before the lengthy spin-around, is a bitter brake! You break so much that inertia throws your stomach into the lap bar then the rocket almost stops before you just trickle down the hill. That hill right there used to be the most sensational (sensory-wise) part of the whole ride!

Yep, this really upset us too. Do a search on Space Mountain and Trim Brakes and you will get a fair amount of hits showing this was done sometime in 2013.

Yeah. I would LOVE them to rip out Space Mountain entirely and put in Disneyland Paris's Space Mountain. For those unfamiliar, Space Mountain Paris can be compared to Rock N Rollercoaster, but it is twice as intense :hungry: Launched start, inversions, corkscrews, onboard music, special effect inside. Amazing.

Ehh, i'd rather keep my old arrow coaster than this. I'm not dissing it, I love thrilling rides but I always thought SM was that stepping stone between BTM and E:E. Without it or if it was more intese, kids wouldn't have that idea of sharp turns and drops.

If they updated it to the DL version where the layout is almost the same but it's super smooth.. Maybe, maybe not.

Idk I want more thrilling rides at WDW, something that's inbetween E:E and RNR.. But I still will try RNR without some other inverting coaster. Some kids won't though..

Primeval Whirl sucks. A roller coaster should not be painful. It is normal for the Mouse type coasters though. Same as Gotham City Gauntlet at Six Flags New England.

I've ridden Matterhorn many times. SM is far too bumpy. Horrible. Worst version of the ride anywhere. Embarrassingly bad.
I have to agree with the other poster, there is nothing worse than Matterhorn especially after the last refurb... And it isn't just the bumpiness of it, its the fact that there is pretty much zero padding in the seats so you feel each and every bump.

It's your favorite ride? I never would've guessed... ;)
Have you been to DL? It's always been better there anyway, highly recommend a trip if you haven't.

I've never been to DL. I live much closer to DW and we almost always drive there. We would definitely have to fly to go to DL and flights are so expensive. It's definitely on my bucket list though!
