More Rehab Information

Here are more rehab dates i'm not sure if they were already mentioned.


Magic Kingdom

The Barnstormer at Goofy's Wiseacre Farm will be closed for refurbishment from March 2 through March 7, 2003.

The Plaza Restaurant will be closed for refurbishment from March 3 through March 28, 2003.


Epcot

The Theater in the China Pavilion will be closed for refurbishment March 26 through May 22 . The Gallery, merchandise shop and restaurants will remain open.



Disney-MGM Studios

The Voyage of the Little Mermaid will be under refurbishment January 6 through March 1.

Great Movie Ride will be closed for refurbishment from February 24 through April 13.

Thanks for the info! Does anyone know what they're doing with the Voyage of teh Little Mermaid? it looks like its going down for a long period of time.

When I was there in early Jan. a cast member told me that they are working on the auditorium. He said that they had done rehab work on the stage area awhile ago and now it was time for the seats and theater to get a make over. I didn't think it was that bad before.. Then again it's pretty dark in there.

Great Movie Ride was planning to replace the Fantasia scene (which was actually originally designed as a tornado room for a larger Oz sequence), but this has so far been cancelled. There will be major attraction vehicle work, as far as I know.

Also, looks like we'll be getting a new China film. It will be interesting to see a new 360 film...I haven't seen one newer than 1992!

Hey, thanks for the info! Does anyone know what they are doing to the Plaza Restaurant????? I hope they aren't messing around with the milkshake receipe!!!!

I am going March 1-8 but will be at the parks March 2-7. I am so sad that Barnstormer will be closed. It has been a tradition of mine since it opened to go on it a few times. And The Great Movie Ride will be closed, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
