BUt then I stopped watching SNL when when the woman that played Rossanna sanna Danna died, for the life of me I can not remember her name, Don't know why I use to love her! :lol:

Her name was Gilda Ratner. She was truely one of the funniest people around.

I'm pretty sure Christopher Walken won an award for his part in the "Cow Bell" skit. It is probably one of SNL's best. I'd put in the same group as Chris Farley's "In a van down by the river" and other SNL greats.

The show has losts its touch as of late. I think they need some new writers and a better cast. Darrell Hammond is my favorite. Seth Meyers and Amy Poehler are okay. The rest are just blah. It has really gone downhill since Will Ferrell left.

I agree. The cast of the mid to late 90's was the best, with Will Ferrell and Chris Kattan topping the list. Definitely two of the best SNL cast members ever!
