When you have the most people in your parks, the pure numbers say that you'll have more injuries. (Even though they do a great job with safety on the site.)

You do the math.

I don't get too excited when I see reports about Disney when there are tons of other reports worldwide about accidents at other parks and fairs. The only reason it gets a lot of publicity is because it's Disney. Look at some of the accidents from other parks:

http://www.rideaccidents.com/

"Roller coaster accident injures 6 at Oklahoma fair", "Woman, 60, in critical condition after fall from Ferris wheel", "Two thrown from fair ride in Dublin", "Man killed underneath inverted roller coaster", "Ferris wheel catastrophe kills five", "Two dead in carnival ride crash", "Boy, 3, injured in 25-foot-fall from Ferris wheel" etc.

These are only a few from this summer...in fact these were after August 1st, 2007. If you go back furthus you will see more.

Compared to these, Disney is very low on the list as far as accidents go.

Do you mean this year? Didn't someone die on MS a few years back?
this year. at WDW. there was a death at paris, but not the u.s. parks, this is a record for flordia and disney becausen flordia: we would probaly have 1 or two deaths and we have zero. Disney: they proabaly get two or three deaths a year, 2007 is 75% done and we only have one!:sohappy:

Wow...that is kinda a stretch - especially dinosaur...the dino didn't go missing.....

Neither does Brer Rabbit, the tour guide gets kidnapped, the guests in ToT aren't missing either, they're dead or in the Twilight Zone and we're not looking for them, the Alien from Alien Encounter Breaks out and is in the room with you, Stitch doesn't go missing, he goes to eat chilli dogs, quite a few of those are stretches.
