I hate all the negativity. It gets so damn old.
Exactly! Just think Spamalot! "Always look on the bright side of life! Always look on the right side of life!" Think positive! Remember, if you go in with a positive attitude, you are most likely going to come out with one!

Just because it was never intended to be an E-ticket doesn't mean we should settle for a poorly executed, mediocre attraction. Personally, my expectations are higher than having attractions made simply to 'kill some time'.

Agreed. I think the general public feels the same way. When you pay 60+ dollars to go to a DISNEY theme park you expect a level of entertainment and themeing that exceeds not only competitors, but the guests expectations.

The only way to send the message to Disney is by simply not going on the ride and possibly mentionting your dissatisfaction to the Disney Corporation.

And MK really hasn't had a decent addition in years. Laugh Floor and Stitch both look to be failures (really too early to tell on Laugh Floor, but I'm just guessing...). Mickey's Philharmagic was a surprise hit, but that was 4 years ago already. Other than that, we have to go back to 2001 for Aladdin's Magic Carpets (how exciting...), and 1998 for Winnie the Pooh and Buzz Lightyear. Splash Mountain, the last MK e-ticket, opened 15 years ago in 1992...that is simply way too long between e-tickets. The refurbs are nice (and MUCH needed), but you need to continue to keep the park fresh with new additions every now and then too; we don't want the MK to become stale and run-down (something some would say it already has become).

We can't forget Wishes, but even that was in 2003. 2003 was the last particularly good year for the Magic Kingdom...I'm struggling to remember what that campaign was. It was the reason that Wishes started with the drawn out name "Wishes: A Magical Gathering of Disney Dreams." Oh, yes...the Magical Gatherings "celebration." PhilharMagic and Wishes were good additions, though.

I'm surprised this discussion hasn't started yet: what will the celebration be in 2008? (i.e. what will they come up with to put on the new banners in the parks?). I miss the 100 Years of Magic banners that flickered at night...so pretty.

Not that I wouldn't love a new E-ticket ride, but MK doesn't really need to spend money at this point over at the MK on such a thing. You build new rides to up attendance. Attendance is not hurting at the MK.
