That's too extreme for even Epic Universe. But it would have been fun sure! Could a barrel roll be added to a family suspended coaster, I wonder? I guess it possible. If they wanted to up the thrill more. But I don't think that's Disney's MO with this one.
That's not extreme at all. It's no worse than a B&M invert which most parks across the country have.

There was a magical week where it looked like we’d get a Zelda land. Now we will be lucky to meet and grope Ganondorf. Nothing more.

Knowing this is most likely what the door coaster is going to be with the exception of the elevator lift, is disappointing.

I mean what do you expect for a family coaster and Monsters Inc. themed? Are you expecting inversions? I don't expect thrill but I wish it will be lengthy.

What I do expect at least is some "near misses" while we pass through the doors.

Yeah, I am hoping for some fun elements related to the doors - seeing scenes in open doors, maybe going through one to another "world" and/or some near misses where heading towards one and veer off at the last second. Things like that to make it unique and not *just* a coaster

I agree and Vekoma has been on a roll with their custom coasters lately so I'm optimistic about it. It will be on the Imagineers on how they can execute that.

So it's Universal and they built 2 of the best THRILL COASTERS in the US
Disney is not Universal. Universal is not Disney.

You obviously have a preference for coasters with extreme levels of thrill. Disney is not going to make coasters for you.

Now, I’m genuinely excited about the Monsters Inc coaster because I will actually be able to ride it and hopefully enjoy myself unlike Velocicoaster.

People like different things. And when it comes to coasters, some people get sick on the rides you enjoy. It’s not a fun experience.

I only wish we got something as good as that for Comic Rewind. Yes I know there is going to be lots of theming but IMO theming doesn't make the coaster better thrill wise.
If it's anything like Dragon Flier at Dollywood, the ride has a little more force to it than you'd think by just watching it from off-ride. It's not extreme at all, but these new age Vekomas are very whippy and take elements with a decent amount of speed and swiftness. It doesn't feel slow or meandering.
