I'd like to see a Mermail show.
You aren't going to believe this...

At least one of Voyage of the Little Mermaid
You’ll get Mermail and Villains, though!

Have the announced the dates for those yet other than the vague Summer 2025? I may have missed it, but I wonder if Muppet Vision 3D closing on June 7 gives us any insight that at least one of those will be open by then.

Why can't they do both? They have more than enough space to do it. I'm sorry but the synergy crap has to go. It's sad that everything now is based on many LLs and merch it sells.
I don't know. I'm not in charge of the company. I just like Monsters Inc and Muppets. Don't point your gun at me. In an ideal world it'd be a "Muppets and Monsters and What-Not City" with both existing together, akin to a more wacky and zany Fantasyland.

If there's any IP that can mesh with Muppets that Disney owns, it's the IP that had its design philosophy take direct inspiration from Jim Henson.

Small observation for any Stats fan, of all the attractions at Walt Disney World to close, Muppet Vision will be the second longest operating attraction at 34 years and 22 days (12441 days). Snow White's Scary Adventures is 1st, closing after 40 years, 7 months and 30 days (14853 days), and Splash Mountain is 3rd at 30 years, 3 months and 21 days (11070 days)

I would prefer they added IP thats more recent. Like Bluey, Soul and Coco. IMO they should be catering to 5-16 year old. That's the next generation of Disney park fans. Not the 20-50 year old

I think they need to utilize the early 2000s IPs and mid-late 90s IPs more before they put stuff in that hasn't really stood the rest of time.

WDW doesn't have a confirmed ride for The Lion King, nothing involving Lilo and Stitch, nothing substantial for Aladdin, Hercules or Mulan, all Beauty and the Beast has is a restaurant. On the Pixar side they've got nothing with The Incredibles, WALL-E is the most EPCOT Pixar film ever and hasn't shown up yet, Emperor's New Groove has it's fans.

Sure nobody is dying for Chicken Little to get a major ride, but I think that list alone would be good enough? I'm biased here but my age range, born around the early 2000s and such, are going to be looking at increasing spending power in the near future, it makes Disney would want to monopolize on things that my generation has nostalgia for. I carry bias here and I'll acknowledge that, but I can't necessarily disagree with them on wanting Monsters Inc and Cars in Florida in a more expanded manner, even if they way they're doing it is destructive.

But both a parking lot and a playground at Epcot are themed to WALL-E, so that should be enough ;) (WALL-E really should have an attraction in reality)

That's fair. It's what Universal is doing with most of their new attractions. I do understand why they are doing it, its just upsetting to see how they push aside the legacy fans for a lot you younger fans.

For me as someone who's mid 40s,, if they are going to go in this direction, at least appeal to some with some bigger thrills. As much I have no attachment to Universal IP, they make up for it with thrills.

IMO it's another reason parks like Dollywood are so highly rated by GP.

Basically, Disney just has to go after the millennial parents that want to share the joy of "riding the movies" with their children now old enough to fully enjoy a visit to WDW... only the attractions don't exist.

I sometimes think Disney is clueless.
