Monsieur Paul Epcot Restaurant

There is a WDWMagic thread that ranks Monsieur Paul as the #1 Restaurant Experience in Epcot. I skimmed the text and the prices are not surprisingly through the roof. To eat here using the Disney Dining Plan would be: 1)impossible? 2)Possible but requires two sit downs? 3)Other....if "other" please explain.

Although I'm sure that Shula's , Il Mulino and Yachtsman are all amazing......we have some wonderful restaurants here in NJ as well. Nearby cities are NYC and Phildelphia.
So, since we are rarely in Epcot, we'd prefer to stay there the entire day/night.
Teppan Edo has good reviews.....looks good. I'm confident that we'll like it while also making the best use of our time.
We'll be one day in MK, one day in AK, and one day in Epcot.
On our getaway / check out day we'll have lunch in Disney Springs.
Hey......yeah.....thread evolving again :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:
Any suggestions for lunch at Disney Springs?

I got nothing ;) on Disney Springs, my first experience there is coming up in September.

You know, Steve, there’s an Il Mulino in NYC...but somehow, I’ve never been to that one!!

OK re. Disney Springs.
My kid is 16 now. She'll be 2 weeks shy of her 17th birthday when we go to Disney in Nov.
When she was in elementary school we went to (then) Downtown Disney two years in a row.
One year we ate at Wolfgang Puck.
Another year was the seafood restaurant on a steamboat.

Re. Il Mulino in NYC
Do you live in NYC? There are so many choices. Many are too crowded or too expensive???

Have you eaten anywhere in Dublin or Galway? I remember that you are Irish American :joyfull::)

I am a Native New Yorker (is there a tune running thru your head now? Because I sense we’re about the same age ;) )

Grew up in The Bronx, moved to northern suburbs in Westchester almost 20 years ago. Yes, NYC is too crowded and too expensive (although comparable to WDW haha)

Case in point—hubby and I celebrated our anniversary in WDW for at least 10 years straight. Got accustomed to paying well over $200 for our anniversary dinner. Last year, we didn’t go to WDW. Local Italian restaurant, 3 course meal including a bottle of wine and aperitifs for both of us was well under the $100 we figured. Waiter got a very healthy tip.

In 2015, I took my then-15 yo niece/goddaughter to WDW. One of our favorite meals was Wolfgang Puck Express at what was then DTD Marketplace—I don’t know what it’s called now.

Some table service Disney Springs places I like are (in not particular order):

Homecomin'
Ragland Road
Frontera
Boathouse
Morimoto's is okay, my husband likes it better than I do, and would pick the previous four I listed before Morimoto's.

So I have booked our Table Service spots: Disney Springs is Homecoming....AK is Yak and Yeti......MK is Tony's.....Epcot is Japanese Hibachi. Not interested in leaving the theme parks. Gonna stick with these choices. Thanks everyone :)

I have not looked lately, but I was under the impression that MP is NOT part of the dining plan.
MP??? Oh....LOL:D....you are actually looking at my Original Post. I moved on from that long ago :cool:

M. Paul requires the Meal Plan holder to burn two table services instead of the usual one.

For everybody else, kindly look two posts earlier than what you are reading here. I posted my choices just above. Thanks :)
