Is there a particular beam to which a monorail has to be on because everytime i have been at WDW Monorail Black was on the Epcot Beam, but in photos on here it is sometimes on the other two. Do they rotate beams and i just happen to be there when the Black train is on the Epcot Beam?

Its completely random which trains go where. Black can be on resorts, express or Epcot. Remember, of 12 trains (well, 11 now I guess) there are bound to be days where things are repeated.

ALSO. A train might start at Express one day and end up on Epcot later on in the afternoon.

So, since each mono signifies its respective rail by (among other things) beacon strobe color, do they change out the strobe lens for the day when they move to another rail, or does each have all three hidden away up top somehow?
