I am at the TTC at 8:30 Saturday night and the monorail has been shutdown. They are making us take the ferry. Anyone know what's going on?

I'm waiting fir Spectromagic right now and that is wierd. It shouldn't be a problem though today has been the lightest MK crowds I have seen in5 years.

That is almost as weird as the monorail being shut down? Wonder why so light? Was the weather bad today? Seems unusual for a Saturday.

Weather was good typical for FL this time of year. But Florida stars school on Monday so I expect the crowds to remain lite for the week.

epcot line

Epcot monorail was not affected... just the resort and express... Express line is running again... as of 9:08

Don't know what caused it this time but I did see it happen one time when there was a minor fire in the California Grill kitchen. The fire was indeed minor with no damage or injuries but once the alarm was triggered the monorail is not allowed to enter the building.

Odd! I think we are all a bit a jumpy though. :o

Glad nothing happened, or so it seems....Maybe they were working on the line? I hope. The lighting struck beam you have to pass over very slowly is quite annoying, as we wanted to get to MK quick.

That is crazy, I was in the Magic Kingdom last night and it was the busiest I have seen it in years, even busier than at Christmas.

It was so busy that it was decided to keep the park open an extra hour and show an additional Spectro Magic.

How 24 hours can change things.

How's the weather? I think that effect our extension, too. Crowds were OK, but it poured for us...

It has been extremely hit and miss the last few weeks in Orlando, most days for the last week it has rained numerous times during the day and then all of a sudden we get beautiful weather....then down pour!

It is strange though as quite ofen the parks empty out alot during that weather, but this year it is the complete opposie, they are staying busy. Last night for example, went to the Magic Kingdom around about 19:00 maybe 19:30, and there was more people waiting to get the monorail from TTC to MK than was coming back.

In fairness it was an extra magic hours night and for resort guests it was open until 2, but alot of those people walked from the parking lot not Disney Transport.
