Because Lime and teal are out of service 2 trains need to be on standby just incase a monorail were to go down. So they leave two on standby.Standby? Aren't all trains usually running??plus with Epcot, I wouldn't think they'd be down to 2 trains... interesting...
O_________________O Okay... XD Are you in Monorails?Because Lime and teal are out of service 2 trains need to be on standby just incase a monorail were to go down. So they leave two on standby.
Epcot 2 train
MK 3 train
Express 3 train
Wow.It's actually not that uncommon to run 2 trains on Epcot. But if 1 of the 2 Epcot trains were to have issues...you can imagine the mess. Only thing that really irked me is when there were 4 trains on express and 3 on resorts around dinner time. Resort trains were standing room only, and between each resort train several express trains would go by with only a few people on board. One night they were running 4 on resorts and 3 on express, they took a resort train and made in an express train. An hour later they put it back. What a mess it was that night.
I respect my contacts I still have and won't share any inside information that has not already been shared somewhere else on the Internet.Wow.Do you happen to know any update about the 2 current down trains?
That's fine. Didn't know if you had an update that WAS shared but I didn't see.I respect my contacts I still have and won't share any inside information that has not already been shared somewhere else on the Internet.
I'd imagine lime is actually worse, as what I had seen was that the impact actually messed up the wiring and IIRC the console. Adding to that, instead of patching it up, sounds like Lime's getting a completely new cab, after @NeonNinja said that Lime was cabless.....My guess is the fiberglass work that needs to be done on Lime is quite extensive. This is what Red looked like in the early 90's when it had its incident with one of the work tractors:![]()
I saw lime out of its garage without it front cab and I have to say I am happy to see it out at least.
Did NeonNinja say Lime was cabless or just missing the front car? I wouldn't be surprised if Car 1 were moved down to ground level for repairs.
It's very possible though that all they have to do is label which loop the train goes on, and it just goes... if it were me, I'd have put Teal on Epcot, to see if it can cope. I'd imagine as well that all the trains are quiet, but if it's quieter, seems interesting... they may not have had the AC's running since they're not loading. I'd love to hear someone else's input on this as well, if they're able to!Also it is possible for teal to go into manuel mode hence putting it into service. But Judging from the look of teal its not ready to go yet. But it was running and was super quiet
This caught my attention. Noone was on, not even a pilot? O_O Or was there a Pilot overseeing as proposed?Teal was spotted on the track with no one on LAST WEEK. So the day if coming
As For lime it has not been seen since 8/21/2014
I've heard that Teal blew out the breakers on the beam it was testin on.
If you're referring to my quote above yours, there isn't one. I'd imagine they'd test a train on a bay-beam (beam 1-10) and then venture onto the spur line. Having been told it blew the breakers, I'd imagine it was only for the bay it was in, and not on the open beam. As far as I know, there is no "TEST BEAM" but they run tests on the spur line...@nace888, They have a test beam? I've been going to Disney World since 1979 and I never knew. Where is it located? Just out of curiosity?
