Monorail Toys

Hi all. I am going to WDW in late July this year and I wanted to know something. I really like those Monorail toys and attachments to it. I got the Haunted Mansion and I love it. Does anyone know the prices for these really cool toys?:hammer:

Do you mean the actual monorail set, with SpaceShip Earth in the center? I think it was something like $24.99 or $29.99. The additional stuff was usually in the $7 to $12 ranger. But that was in 2003. Sorry.

I think the battery powered monorail and accessories are in the $30 to $60 range.

We paid 59.00 for our battery Monorail. Most of the hotels are 45.00. This year they have come out with the arch (Welcome to DisneyWorld) like you drive through on your way in. that cost 30.00. they also have the trees from in front of the Contemporary that light up. Did not buy them, I did not care for them. They IMHO looked to fake. i just wish they would come out with more accessories. I would love to make the whole thing look as real as can be, but without the right accessories it is hard to do and keep them in scale.

Thanks. I think I remember seeing the California Screamin' for $65 when I was there last October ( I never went on AE and said I would next time on its last day of operation! :fork: :dazzle: :hammer: ) and Either the Orange Stinger or Astro Orbitor was $35. Can anyone confirm?

Yes, they are being discontinued. The hearst car is already discontinued and the person who I spoke with said she had heard, and it is not confirmed that the space ship earth is going to be discontinued and a new one in smaller scale is going to be brought in.



emmanuel_10583: The big toy store in DTD has them towards the back of the store. There is a big display. Most of the stores has some of the pieces but the toy store has all of the pieces.
