Monorail Resorts

I am going back to WDW after a 5 year hiatus. The spouse and I will be taking our 2 1/2 year old and 15 month old. Because we don't want the hassles of a long commute, we have decided to stay on the monorail loop. So the question is...GF, Poly or Contemporary. If you have to tote around 2 toddlers, which one is better. Mind you, I have never stayed at these 3 resorts, only eaten there. Thanks for the input.

Contemporary...you've got monorail, boat, and walking path.

Thanks for all the input...I really appreciate it. Seems to me it comes down to Contemporary or GF. Still leaning towards Contemp just because we can walk to MK and monorail it to TTC then to Epcot. Although GF also has a possibility. I like the fact of a Tea at 4pm...I can take my Lil' Tater Tot to that. Money isn't a concern for me since the kiddos are free into the parks so I'm saving $$$. That's part of the reason to do it now (2 1/2 yrs and a 16 mo).

Along with the others, I must say Contemporary (tower room if you can afford it). It would be easy to walk to the monorail in the morning and you would have easy access to all restaurants and shops. :) Plus the kids would probably be fascinated with the monorail running right through the hotel. :) When I stayed I definitely spent some time watching it go by.

Pros for GF:
- most of the property recently refurb'd, including restaurants, courtyard pool, part of Beach Pool.
- brand new splash area just right for the little squirts
- more outdoor area for kids to enjoy
- one monorail stop to MK; very short (1st stop) water taxi back home from MK. Contemporary walking distance sounds great BUT you'll be pushing the strollers.

One rebuttal: the idea of "snobby" guests at GF is a little odd. I've heard it before and don't really get it (or agree with it) . These are still WDW guests. And, really, how much interaction do you have with other families? The CMs at the GF were cool and seemed to have the same attitude as other WDW resorts.

CR would be terrific, too, but GF has lots going for it.
