Monorail Question

I posted this to ask a simple question and everyone thinks that my son and his friends are the problem. No I'm not worried about them I'm worried about all the prevs and Aholes out there and you can not tell me there not because some of the responces on this post tell me there out here. Even at Disney

If this is your concern then no you should not let your children go to WDW alone because, even if the monorail did have cameras, what about the rest of the parks?
If your honest thoughts are for your child's safety and not what they may do, then do NOT let them go alone. Particularly since it sounds like he may be on the younger side since you're asking the question to begin with. Wait until he's better able to care for himself and you won't worry as much. "If you're having to ask the question, the answer is probably no" has always been my response when it comes to children's readiness.

Hope this helps!

Kinda funny you are only worried bout video cameras on the monorail when u will be surrounded by im guessing thousands of them in disney between guests and security cameras. It sounds to me like soembody got ahold of there parents account access and is asking questions.:shrug::shrug::shrug:

Sorry, something doesn't ring true here.

I would like to know if anyone can tell me if the monorail has security cams. My son and his friend want to ride alone and my DW has some worries that if there is any problems it would be caught on camera.:lookaroun

so basically you want to know if you can smoke a joint in an empty monorail car and get away with it:p

I have been to WDW many times and never had an "empty" monorail car to ride in. It just doesn't happen that often, if at all. There are usually a million people crammed into one car (ok, maybe not that many) but the cars are always full to half full.

Or the cars could be not empty to half empty!:D

Ive been several times where me and my party were the only ones on the monorail. Usually its cuz me and my dad leave the mk at maybe 11 or 10:30 ish, and everybody is just coming in and nobody is really going out. We leave early sometimes to go park hopping or go back to the resort for naps. And I remember a few times coming into the mk being in a monorail alone.

On the MK line that's more often the case...sharing passenger cars on the monorail with other park goers. But, I've had plenty of times on the EPCOT monorail line where I've been able to snag a monorail car to myself quite easily.

To back up the other response above, HankyPOOH, if you are worried in any way, shape or form for whatever reason then I'd say do not let the kids ride alone. It'll save you heartache and worry lines.
