Has anyone done a monorail bar crawl before? We're looking at at least one bar/lounge in The Grand Floridian, The Contemporary, & The Polynesian. We are looking to do this late afternoon on a Wednesday, so hopefully places won't be too crowded.:)

Trader Sam's Grog Grotto and The Wave are places we are interested in. Any other suggestions?

By my count, you have 12 bars to choose from if you include pool bars. That jumps to 14 if you have access to both the Bay Lake Tower pool and Top of the World... Some are better than others, but I think I'd be up for the challenge. ;-)

We did this a few weeks ago and we stopped at these places:
Polynesian: Trader SAMs, and Tambu Lounge
Grand Floridian: Mizners Lounge
Contemporary: California Grill. If we had been unable to get in there we were going to go to the Wave.

We started at trader SAMs at around 5:30 and didn't have a problem finding a table inside.

I don't think I'll make it to all 14, but I'll make a good effort :) lol

I definitely want to see Trader Sam's, the pictures look very interesting. I have to check menus to make my last minute decisions, since I'm kind of a picky eater :banghead: but I want us to be able to try a few apps as well as drinks.

We did the Monorail Pub Crawl to break away from a crazy busy day at Food & Wine last year and it was awesome. Went to the Wave Bar first, great cocktails, if not the best atmosphere, would also recommend The Outer Rim for much better views. Headed to Trader Sam's and had a blast, everything about the place is AWESOME, then hit Mizner's Lounge, very cool, relaxed vibe, fun spot! You really can't go wrong no matter which places you choose!

I'm planning on doing this on my exit trip, but I've also added the territory lounge on to my list. Going to take the boat from CR to the wilderness lodge

I'm a picky eater too, but the corn battered sausages and the kalua pork tacos were great. The food at Mizners lounge was good too.

You might consider the Boardwalk area for a future pub crawl, especially with the opening of Abracadabar. Have a great time!
We might do that as well. I definitely wanna check out Abracadabar & we plan on stopping by the Atlantic Dance Hall, even know I've read mixed reviews on it. We have 10 nights, so I'm trying to squeeze in as much as possible! :D

I've been to the dance hall two times and have never witnessed a person in there....

I swear to god they have made it that way so it doesn't turn into the old PL... Maybe it will be different but no one was there lol.
I was too young to go to Pleasure Island when it was there :( so I figured I'd try this out. Maybe we'll just bar hop instead or try a place at CityWalk.

I have a dinner ADR at California Grill at 7:50 pm on a day that Wishes is at 10pm. So, I may do a monorail crawl before returning to CG to watch Wishes!

That sounds like a good idea, I'm thinking we might be able to watch the fireworks from one of the hotels after our bar crawl :)

I'm betting your timing is about right without the crawl. You should be seated around 8pm, and dinner at the CG can last from 90 minutes to 2 hours easy. Just plan on getting a drink from the bar and then going out on the balcony for Wishes. Or you could even delay your dessert until after the show. I don't think you have enough time for a proper monorail crawl with a 7:50pm rez.
