Momma Melrose

Everyones likes are different. It blows and is crap shows it doesnt fit your taste, so be it. OG seems to fit many peoples likes since they are all over and staying in business. Every time we step in theres a fairly full dining area. We just had a 3rd one open up all within a 45 min drive to each other. But hey, now we now youre not a patron of them.
Some patrons like a safe bet and same quality like Olive Garden and Dennys that are natiowide. Dennys for example would not be successful in diner capital USA - NJ , but in a number of other states it is. One good place to eat either drunk or sober and with unique late night customers is the 24/7 Waffle House .

Mama Melrose was really good when it first opened years ago. It went downhill and I quit going there. Last year I gave it a try again and was pleasantly surprised. The food wasn't as good as years ago, but was definitely better than OG.

Whoever designed Mama Melrose put in the smallest mens bathroom at DHS for a dining facility, poor planning.

I thought it was gross. the pasta undersauced and underwhelming and the staff hurried to get you out and fill your seat with the next customer. Worse than olive garden I'd say.
The cashier hostess area is no bigger than a bread box so the pressure is on to get them in get them out to get more guests to dine.

Been there twice and the food is decent, not great. Service has been good both times. I also am not a fan of Olive Garden, but I know plenty who love it.

We had a horrible experience at Tony’s in the MK. The entire experience was abysmal. No sooner had we gotten our salads, the main entree came out. Plus it tasted like it was made earlier and put under a heat lamp.

It is challenging to have a slow paced peaceful meal at the sit down locations at the parks. There is pressure for the cast to turn over the tables as quickly as possible with many fellow guests with reservations and walk ins in the nearby areas trying to get into eat also.

We put it off a long time based on reviews but went earlier this month. I liked the setting and found the food was okay and on par with quality of Prime Time and Hollywood and Vine, and that's a low bar.

I haven't been to Olive Garden in at least 25 years.

I would never have thought of using Olive Garden as a measuring stick to anything other considered good Italian food but yeah that is a perfect comparison. It is OG if OG was in Disney World.

They need to bring back the pizzas.
