Momma Melrose Italian in DHS?

It's good, but I prefer Via Napoli in Epcot if I'm getting Italian on a Disney trip. I will say that the wait staff was absolutely top-notch at Melrose though.

Via Napoli is equal to us with Mama Melrose because we like Via for delicious pizza, and Mama's for delicious pasta.

We ate there last September after giving it a miss for several years because the food was just ok. We sat at the table and saw the biggest cockroach I have ever seen. Our server wasn't interested and when I insisted she do something she later came back to say it had been dealt with. We received no apology and granted it happens but the total lack of embarrassment amazed me. We will not be going again.

I know this is no excuse but that was the summer and summer in FL. Those tend to sneak in on occasion. We deal with that here in southern LA often in the summer especially.
Did you ask for a manager? That is the best way to complain to get anything done. Don't just depend on the server esp since she seemed not to care. I would in that instance ask for a manager.

We have always had good luck with it. The food is really nothing more than Olive Garden quality, its good not exceptional. The service has always been very good every time we have been there as well. For us it has been a consistently good place to eat so we find ourselves back there every couple trips or so.

I agree, although I only order the steak that comes with the mac&cheese, so I can't really judge their italian fare. It has been consistently good every time we have dined here and service has always been very good. We like how it is tucked in the back of HS.

You are in Florida - expect to see a palmetto bug every now and then........
