MOM Againt HHN Billboards

Eh. Some people are way too sensitive nowaday. I understand the group's point, but come on. These billboards are up for just a month or 2 and POOF. Gone. In the mean time, worry about things you CAN control, be it what your child says, sees on tv, etc.

We were just down there the first week of October, and I had a sobbing 4 year old in the back seat who was scared to death of the stupid girl on the billboard. IMHO, it's not the image in and of itself, it's that you see it literally ever 3-5 minutes when you are driving down I-4 and other major roads (192, international, etc). These billboards are everywhere! The poor kid was freaking out wanting to know "when are we leaving Orlando cause that scary girl lives everywhere here!"

let the flaming commence... :zipit:

I'm wondering how many of those mothers went to go see the ___ and the City movie that came out earlier this year. That was probably a ton more risque than any HHN will ever be!!!

This reminds me of the Simpsons episode where billboards with working blood fountains are placed around the city to promote the new itchy and scratchy film.....

Still, on the whole a think a few billboards would be the least of someones worries.

It's November 3rd. The billboards will soon be gone, if they aren't already. Let the overly sensitive mommies rest until sometime in August of 2009 when this thread will be resurrected.
