Modern Marvels WDW on now...

I am a little late to posting this, but Modern Marvels WDW is on right now on the history channel. For those who have not had a chance to see this special, it is a 2 hour must see for any Disney Fan. They are replaying it again from 2-4 pm this afternoon. Set your DVRs.

It goes into some pretty good detail about all 4 parks and many specific attractions. They have some pretty good archival footage, and lots of interviews with Imagineers.

It is by far my favorite televised WDW special on air now. It's a shame it is only on about once a year.

It was a pretty good show but...

I just wish that it was a little more updated. It seems like updates for these things are few and far between.

Oh well... At least this one doesn't get played all too often.

But if they keep letting those film crews in, we will never get a chance to ride on the rides.

I wish they had a special on the hotels, they are just as bog of wdw as the parks.

Yes. But still better then not watching a show about WDW for 2 hours.

Agreed!

There are so many aspects of the resorts that don't seem to get any coverage.

If I were the head of resorts I would make sure there were a couple of new shows made each year.

Shows about the resorts are the kind of free advertising that isn't in-your-face obnoxious like the most recent things I have seen.

Just as a heads up, so everyone knows I just watched the Modern Marvels special, and it is updated, at least from last time I watched.

Included were Everest built, and running, the Wall-E AA, Toy Story Mania, and what looked at times to be new interviews.

A minor note, but a major pet peeve of mine: Why on earth are we using "EST"? We're not in Eastern Standard Time, we're in Eastern Daylight Time (EDT).
