Resort comments

Here's my comments:
#1
I wish disney would have more moderates that would accomondate five in the family.... especially one that would have a beachfront or back....

#2
any comments on refrig being standard in moderates? I've been to other comparable properties and refrig are included....

I feel that staying on property guests should be afforded more discounts .... say... like % off meals in you dine within your resort property or counter service. (How bout free coffee & donuts in the am) guests 10 & under would get those goofy ears or some other disney token, & bringing back EE days. I love the mug deal but they cut back on the beverages you get. It used to be at Dixie landings oj, milk. tea, lemonade, coffee, soda were included. Now it's only HiC & soda. Oh well.......they have to make cutbacks somewhere.....

Comments....???

59 more days to go!

I made a mistake in my initial thread about the mug refills. Just checked with po riverside and you can get refills on coffee, tea, lemonade, sodas........ just not milk & oj...... I'm not sure about the other resorts though.thank goodness there r coffee refills...I was worried about that one!

If you stay at Port Orleans Riverside, half of the rooms can accomodate 5 guests and if you want a refrigerator in your room, they you will have to stay at Caribbean Beach Resort

HiFS ---- I believe it means Holiday Inn Family Suites.
As for more moderate resorts accommadating 5....... I have this problem too. My husband and I have a blended family. His son is 14, my son is 10 and our son is 7. The All-Stars is out of the question for us and reserving two rooms is also out of the question financially. What we had been doing is driving to Ocala and stopping at the WDW Welcome Center and seeing what kind of walk-in rate we get. The last time we did this; we got the Polynesian for $159.00 per nite, and the time before we got the Contemporary for $129.00. We want to stay on property as I gave my husband the feel of staying off property one time. He said NEVER again. As far as the fridge goes; we bring a 120 qt. ice chest and fill it up every AM and again in the PM. It's not that bad of a hassle and it's my husband's job:animwink:
