Moderate Resorts

I have a question in regards to moderate resorts. I have a family of five 2 adults, 4 children. Do any of these resorts allow you to have 5 to a room? If so which ones?

Port Orleans Riverside can sleep 5. They have trundle beds that they will supply for an additional charge of I think $20 per night.
Coronado Springs has Suite rooms that will sleep up to 6 also.

Um, how does 2 adults + 4 kids = 5?

You're gonna have a problem putting 6 in a room at Disney, unless you go for a suite or one of the vacation club rooms that come with bedrooms.

Maybe one of the adults is also one of the children, only older. Maybe she/he is only counting her kids as the 'family' she/he spoke of. Other than that, you got me.

When we went last year with our 3 kids, our travel agent told us that POR with the trundle bed was our only option without spending more money. We absolutely loved it there and our youngest loved having her own bed.

Okay so I don't know how to count, it is five total.........2 adults and 3 children...........

You know sometimes 3 kids feel more like 4, or 10 for that matter. It can be hard to count them all when they won't hold still for a minute!!!!!!!

The trundle bed is awsome....

It's offered at no extra price....

we were a family of 2...and had a room for 5...

but...its still a small room for 5 people...

It your planning on spending nearly no time in your room...then GO FOR IT....

If not....

I agree with jaimjaim

The cabins would be better....
the kids could run around...
The hubby's cooking steak on the grill
and your chilling in a spacious area free of the little ones...

It is more money...but the benefits are better....

** I prefer POR...
nicer area...nice food court
and I like the bus system better...
if you don'tmind the lack of space...
take thius instead***

Ok, I have never stayed at the cablins at fort wilderness. (I have stayed at least once at all the mod resorts.) POR is wonderful resort (always Dixi in my heart). It is my 1st choice for mod resorts.

I have heard good things about FW for kids, tons to do, great play ground, extra activites, petting zoo and it is close to MK.

Also WL has some rooms that don't cost as much at most deluxe, but have bunk beds and extra room. (I know the one Sam showed on Great hotels (TC) had 2 queen size and a pull out couch.) But that would still put 2 kids sharing a bed in the "room" with you.
