That depends on what Theme you like the best! :)

We've stayed at the Carribbean Beach Resort a couple times now and really like it. It's quiet (generally), and you can see the EPCOT fire works from the beach! It's also centrally located, so if you're taking busses, it's your best bet, even though the bus stops are a walk from some of the rooms.

If you plan on spending a lot of time at Downtown Disney, you may want to go for Port Orleans. They have boat service to and from!

The Coranado Springs one is the furthest away.

My only complaint - the hot tubs at all the moderate resorts don't have jets! :brick:

Caribbean Beach Resort is great!

Some say there is too much walking, but the only difference I found between CBR and the Wilderness lodge, as far as walking distances, was where I was walking. I did just as much walking inside the WL as I did outside at the CBR. Being from upstate NY, I really enjoyed walking with all the green plants at the end of December when I was at the CBR.

Anyway, no matter where you stay I can pretty much bet that you are going to love it. Enjoy.

The crowds shouldn't be too bad. Look to take advantage of Extra Magic Hour (Early park entry).

You really can't go wrong with any of the moderates. Like many others, Caribbean Beach is my personal favorite. The only downside I can see to staying there is that it is very large and spread out. The way to combat long walks to the food court and main pool are to try to request staying in a section of the resort closer to the action. They are usually very accomodating. I'd say Corando Springs and PO Riverside are equally large and spread out. PO French Quarter is more compact, but I'm not sure what their rehab schedule is like. The PO resorts are over by Downtown Disney, so the bus rides are also longer especially to MK and AK.

I would have to go with coronado, Been there 5 times now and it asnt let me down. I have been to caribbean beach and it is alot louder and more crowded. Coronado is very quiet, its large but not bad if you use the bus to get around.

CBR is nice, if you don't mind potentially walking a lot. Bus service can be great, if you happen to be the first or second stop. ;)

Our family really likes Port Orleans: French Quarter. Quiet, convenient, and lots o' southern charm. :)

Never stayed at Coronado Springs, but I hear it's popular for conventions(?)

Mid-March shouldn't be too terrible for crowds, but definitely expect to wait for popular rides.

We've stayed at both Port Orleans and the Caribbean Beach, and loved them both for different reasons. If you're relying on Disney transportation to get around, though, stay at Port Orleans, becaue the CB is a LONG bus ride from just about everywhere. PO is more centrally located. :)

You'll be making it just in time! Spring Break crowds will start coming in just days after you leave. Expect moderate crowds though, but I wouldn't expect waiting in lines longer than 30 minutes.

As for moderate resorts, my personal favorite is Coronado Springs. Great hotel, very beautiful. Same to Caribbean Beach Resort, but again it will take some time to get to and from other places to the resort. Port Orleans is also a great place, and with its convenient location along with being just steps away from Downtown Disney, you can't get a lot better than that.

Enjoy your trip.:D

I would say POFQ. It's small and has only one bus stop. It is also quite and very pretty. The only downside is you have to walk to POR for the boat to Downtown Disney and to a sit down restraunt.

I did not like CB. I hated the food cort and the CM who worked in the food cort and gift shop were rude. It is also a hike from check in to rooms and a hike to a bus stop. But seeing Epcot at night and the fireworks from the beach was great so that was the trade off. If you are abeach and sun person it is great to open your door and walk out to the beach.

Personally, I have only stayed at POR when it comes to the moderate resorts. However, I have stayed there many a time because I absolutely love it. It is true that the transportation from there is excellent, the theme is very cool, but one downside, it is very big. POFQ would probably be a great choice as well, being that is is small and quiet, and if you want to check out all that POR has to offer, it is just a short walk away.

The only reason I never stayed at POFQ is that the times that I have gone and stayed at a moderate, FQ has been under refurbishment, JUST LIKE DINOSAUR will be our next trip!!! ARGH!!! Just one more reason to get mad at AK.

But anyway, either of the POs i would suggest because they are away from things and have a great theme.

I would suggest the Port Orleans French Quarter. It's newly refurbished and the smallest moderate. Less walking, new rehab, beautiful grounds.
