any recommendations within the moderate resorts or AOAR with young ones?

We stayed at POFQ before and loved it but that was pre-kids, just wondered if there were any better hotels to others? The bus system at CBR maybe puts me off slightly?

Also to add into the mix wouldn't mind going for AOAR with the family rooms, just means we don't have to sit in silence at night while children sleep LOL!

Only advantage we get with moderate is we get free dining plan from UK, so quite the plus over AOAR, although you do get free breakfast so not much better to have the dining plan I suppose.

I have stayed at the AoA lion king and Nemo with groups of 6 and 12. we loved it! once there was a baby involved and we had a port-a-pen brought it. it was a great experience for us.

I'm not a fan of AOA's food court - good selection just cacophonous and can still get very very crowded. And I prefer to stay in a resort that has at least one sit down restaurant. But of course, POFQ doesn't have a sit-down either, you have to go to the one in PO-R and that one is only open for dinner. So that is a wash. I wouldn't recommend a Little Mermaid room as I found them claustrophobic, but if the suites are within your budget, go for it. You're right, it'll give you the option of watching TV or chatting or just being grownups once the kids are asleep. The pools, especially the Nemo pool, are amazing in their detail (just keep serious eyes on your little ones). We enjoyed walking the grounds and seeing how all the areas are decorated.

If the suites are not in your budget, I'd probably suggest Coronado & Riverside first. The grounds are huge, but at least you have a sit-down restaurant if you need one one night (with more restaurants at Coronado, and open for more meals).

I prefer Value resorts. The reason is the insane amounts of theming for kids. It is everywhere. I have stayed at Pop and AS resorts. The AS resorts are nice, but the constant stopping at 3 resorts became a pain. AoA is probably similar to Pop for buses. The buses are frequent, always in one location, and never had an issue at Pop. Theming at the Moderates are OK in comparison, but kids love the giant statues of the animated movies.
