Moderate Lodging/King ?

We'll be going in early May (prior to 5/5) for 3 nights and we MUST have a king bed, plus something for my child, age 3, to sleep on. I was hoping to go with a moderate resort (POFQ or CBR). Any suggestions/thoughts/ etc? I have not been to WDW since 2001 and am out of the loop. Thanks!

I was at Corronado Springs during the holidays and was in the same situation. I payed $12 extra a night and was guaranteed a King bed.

Call central reservations and tell them what you need, they should be able to guarantee you a king bed.

They did for me and the family!

I concur with Crazydaveh. Call the CRO and request a king. You should have been able to reserve a king plus a roll-a-way when you made your initial reservations. I have always requested a king and have never been denied.

Please keep in mind, king bedded rooms at the moderate resorts have a maximum occupancy of 2 guest plus an infant 2 or under. The reservation center cannot make any exceptions to this policy, nor can the reservation center request roll-a-way beds for any resort. Since you have a party of 3 guests, you will be required to book 2 rooms to ensure a king bed at a moderate resort.

You may wish to consider a Deluxe Resort as rooms with king beds also have a day bed, to sleep 3.
