We went for the first time in October and had a blast! You get to dress up, trick or treat, meet characters. The parade and the fireworks? OUTSTANDING! By far the best I have seen anywhere. Do it!
The Boo to You parade is my favorite parade ever! HalloWishes is a great fireworks show as well. It's fun to see everyone dressed up. The atmosphere is fun.
They are usually Tuesday and Friday nights.
Might be fun for some but I refuse to pay more to stay in a park that I am being told to leave early for which I already paid full price to get into..Fundamental hard headed irishman objection firmly in place.

I'm Irish as well. Lose the hard headedness and go at least once, it really is cool. The fireworks are awesome, the parade is incredible and the haunted mansion with everyone dressed up is very cool
It's a separate event so I don't mind paying!
OK but you get free candy as well....
Honestly I think (and boy could I be wrong) that they go exclusive NSSHP at 7pm, MK would normally close at 9pm that time of year so it's 2 hours you "lose" by them closing early. Again I have not been to NSSHP since 2011 so I might be off in my times. I understand your point though.
Candy is free...if you do not have to pay to stay in the parks but that candy cost you $60
