MNSSHP...To Go Or Not To Go??

We have never been to Disney World during the Halloween season before and decided to go this year. We already know we will be doing HHN at Universal but I am wondering if we should also purchase the Halloween Party tickets at The Kingdom. Anyone who has attended, please let me know. I know they have a parade and fireworks show, but is there anything else that is different from any other night at Disney? Thanks! :)

We are definatley going to go! Already started brain storming on our costumes. Now the only problem we have is to make this next 3 1/2 months go faster! ;) More than likely I will begin a planning journal later tonight. The hubs is a Disney fanatic like myself, however, he isn't into planning. The details is what I geekily (I know, not a word) live for!:geek: I'm glad there is a place for me to come where other share in my enthusiasm! You guys keep me excited! :D:happy:

We have gone sometimes twice in one vacation we love it so much! We plan on NOT BUYING park admissions tickets for days we plan on the party. It is so nice to enter the MK at 4 and have a full 8 hours to play and collect candy. If you wait until the end of the evening the candy gets passed out by the handful, more than enough for a person to enjoy treats for days and then some!

I love the fact that there's a place where even adults get to be kids again! That's what was attracting me to MNSSHP in the first place. Let's just say it's been years and years since I've been "trick or treating"! :joyfull:

Make sure to get an early seat for the parade (it's the best parade at any of the parks). I also think HalloWishes is the best Wishes version. And I see that you are going to HHH too ... very different kind of event but also a ton of fun!

We loved MNSHP last year! Not sure about the costume thing. It was still fairly warm, even at night, when we went. We did see some nice costumes, but later in the evening our son said he was glad he didn't wear a costume because of the temperature. We went in late October, by the way.

It's worth every penny in my opinion. Me, my wife, sister and brother in law went and had a blast!
