#1 Does anyone have 2022 AND 2023 dates and prices for MNSSHP?
#2 I am trying to figure out if going to the MNSSHP is worth it instead of going to MK for the day and buying Genie?

Any advice you can offer is greatly appreciated!

I appreciate your advice DryerLintfan and my thinking is just that...prioritize our MUST DO from 4-7pm then do the attractions that are open for the party.
So you are saying to view the parade from Frontierland? That way the rides are practically walk ons since most will be watching the parade? Is their only 1 parade or is there 2? I have a site I would like to film from but its not Frontierland!
PLUS, I want my candy!!!! LOL

If you want lots of candy without having to walk to lots of places that are giving it out I can tell you where my bag was filled about halfway in just one area when I was there last October.

Okay, as you're walking toward Space Mountain go to the left like you are going to their gift shop but instead walk past the gift shop exit doors. You know, the ones where everyone walks out of after they get off that ride. Just keep walking and it funnels you down sort of a back alley where you eventually come out near TRON.

Along that back alley are three candy dispense locations. You have to walk right past them, impossible to miss. By the time you reach the exit near TRON your candy bag will be about half full.

I’m not honestly sure about two parades post pandemic. I’ve always gone with a little kid so I’ve only ever been to the first parade and First fireworks Show and First whatever because man they need sleep 😂😂
I seem to recall 2 parades when we went last Sept. we watched the first parade from main street and one of the floats got stuck for like 30 min just past us. We had the HM ballroom dancers in front of us; kinda. lol to seem them so close up for such a long time. HM float and dancers are my favorite so didn’t mind the extra time the parade took!

OK< since I am going to the MNSSHP for THE FIRST TIME...we are not interested in the meet 'n greets. We would like to do the Treat Trails, Attractions and Parade, So, what would be the best plan!?
I only ask because this is the first time EVER doing anything other than park days! We would like to go into the party with some sort of plan to maximize what we want to do. I know that we can enter as early as 4pm and the party officially begins at 7pm. What is the 4-7pm plan? Do we do not so popular rides and then hit the major rides after the party starts? Any Treat Trails better than the other? We can hit the Trails as much as we want, right?

THANKS friends for advice in advance!

You’re going to want to get to the entrance of MK around 3pm as the line builds outside to a crazy amount of people approaching 4. We’re purposefully going to use a park day (one of us also has an AP) to go into the park around 2pm (or earlier since the crowds in party days seem to be less). We did a similar plan last Sept only arrived about 3pm and the line for the party people was already nuts! I’d also get your wristband deeper into the park if going early. We got ours with zero-wait at the location next to Tortuga Tavern. And if doing a lot of the tray trails, maybe bring a separate bag as we got a TON of candy (and we did maybe 3 trails). We both left with completely full bags.

So, some youtubers sat that on Party Days are the best days to visit MK since they close at 6pm. IF that's the case, If we would go it at 4pm, according to this, we should be able to do our MUST DO list of attractions!? Because I really don't want to go during the day and be forced to buy Genie+ above the admissions...yeh, I'm cheap! LOL
According to advice here, We will get in line at 3pmish and do our MUST DO's from 4 o'clock and hopefully be able to get everything done and enjoy trick or treating, parade(s), Hocus Pocus.

Would going in at 4PM get us on many rides before the start of the party? Mainly, Haunted Mansion, 7DMT, Jungle Cruise, Tianias Bayou, and BTTMRR... do you think we could do MOST of them by 7pm? I only ask because I have no clue how to navigate a Party!

You could get some in but remember, there are a bu ch of people trying to get in at 4pm with the same idea. Despite what you may have read, not all rides during MNSSHP are walk-ons. HM definitely will not be as they usually have some awesome effects after dark. You’ll need to prioritize what’s important to you…are you going just for shorter waits for attractions or are you also planning to do the special event things (treat trails, Hocus Pocus stage show, parade, fireworks)? You will not be able to fit all that in. I’d make a list of what you’d like to do and plan accordingly. Maybe ride things during the first parade? Maybe skip the special M&Gs that have hours long queues (7 dwarfs are one that come to mind). And if you do plan to go at 4pm, get there early to queue up as there is generally a long line to get in at 4pm.

OK thanks for the info. We are not interested in M&G's. Just want to do the treat trails, see parade, shows and fireworks! We are OLD (late 50's & mid 60's!), but we want to get our money's worth with the treat trails! LOL We will definitely be in line EARLIER than 3pm...probably just grab lunch and then head to MK to wait! HM only do special effects after dark or is there different scenes inside that change for the party? I know for my friend, she will want to do HM even if its between 4-7pm, we can always go back after dark for the outside effects! For me, my must do is 7DMT (never ridden it), so I am thinking we can at least get those 2 done before the party and JC if time remains!

I think your plan is most doable! For HM, there are no special scenes but after Sunset, they start pumping fog, has special lighting, and usually there is a ”ghost” in the graveyard that interacts with guests. Getting a pic is pretty awesome as there are usually special “magic shots”. Lots of great trails and towards the end of the party, we’ve had tons of candy just dumped into our bags Which were completely full after just a few trails. Since there are 2 parades, I’d plan to do SDMT during one of them. Last year my mom (who’s in her 70s and uses an ECV) did the treat trails, saw the 1st parade (viewed from main st), the fire works, did a few M&Gs (jack sparrow, the twiddles, and am forgetting the last one), did a bu ch of photopass pics), rode HM, SDMT, IASW, people mover, BTMRR, POTC, actually had ADRs for LTT and ate dinner there (would not advise doing that! Took too much time), had some of the party-only treats. And I think we left before the end of the party. So we did a lot! We entered the park around 3pm with our reg. tickets. But we generally just did some shopping before dinner, picked up our party wristbands,a nd walked around a bit.

Thank you (and others) for your input. After talking to you and others, I thinks I have a good plan in my mind...as long as I can remember it when the time comes in Oct 2026 is another story! LOL
