MNSSHP Help

They shut down the park to everyone and then open only to those that have a wristband which you get at the entrance of the MK. Large balloons are placed throughout the park where they hand out candy to everyone trick or treating. By the way, everyone coming into the party gets a Trick or Treat bag. Lighting is changed throughout the park to make it darker and more Halloween-like. There are lots of purple and green lights on the rides. Other than the candy give-outs and most of the guests being in a Halloween costume, the MNSSHP was much like an E-ride night. Hope that helps.

You can also get pictures taken and mailed to you for free. Yes, believe it or not free. The parade is awesome. You can't miss it. The fireworks show was great. You can meet and greet all the characters many dressed up for Halloween. It's quite a nice party, we enjoyed it for the first time last year and will be there for it again on October 3rd.

You can also look into eating at the Libery Tree Tavern. We went to MVMCP last year and ate there. They do the same thing for MNSSHP. It is a very nice start to the evening.

We had just as much fun as the kids and there were 9 of us, the kids ranging from 8 to 17 and none of us regretted it. We trick or treated right along with the kids and rode everything we wanted 5 times each. We wked in and out of Buzz and SM for the longest time. We hit as many of the normally packed rides as we could plus managed the trick or treating, the parade, pictures and fireworks. It really was awesome and we didn't even dress up except the youngest of the boys.

this year will be my fourth time (fourth and fifth, going two nights) attending MNSSHP. it's a great time for kids of all ages (ie us adults). it's amazing to experience the magic kingdom seasoned with the flavor of halloween. it's like a little bit of magic as all the little ones are decked out in halloween costumes

a great time, definately worth the price

I went for my first time ever last yearand had a blast. Main Street is all Decked out for Halloween with projections of witches and bats on the buildings. The lines aren't much of a problem since most people are trick or treating.I walked right on to the Haunted Mansion, my favorite ride, and got to ride it 2 times in a row without getting out of my Doombuggy! the second ride I was the only one in the entire building other than cast members. When it rounded the corner at the end of myfirst ride I was right back at the load and there was no one there except for 2 cast members just talking. It's alot creepier when no one else is on the ride. It's something I'll never forget! Right before the parade was supposed to start there was a guy telling the story of Sleepy Hollow in the street ( I was right at the Liberty Bell ) and the Headless Horseman was late so the old uy was standing there for literally half an hour yelling " BEWARE TH HEADLESS HORSEMAN!!! HE RIDES TONIGHT! Too funny!

Popkid, do you feel the secret is now out-that the MNSSHP has gotten more crowded over the years? We have also been there the past few years. This past October was unbelievable how many more people were there than in the past. We still had great fun though. The crowds were not unbearable, larger than the past, but smaller than normal park hours.

Oh yeah. don't forget to ride the riverboat ride with the spooky tales and the spooky dead singers. It was wonderful and I think everyone should check that out.

When I went last October it wasn't that crowded. Earlier that day the park was PACKED but at MNDDHP we walked right on to every attraction. It was worth it to me just for that.

When I went a few years back I noticed that the first hour was just as crowded as a reg. day but then it started to clear out and everything was a walk on until close. I guessed this happened because the little kids were getting tired.
