My boyfriend and I are considering getting tickets for MNSSHP, but aren't sure if it's really for adults without kids. Any thoughts? Thanks!!!

yes, it is wonderful fun for all ages. The parade is great and you will see kids of all ages in costume. There are extra special treats at the Haunted Mansion. Definately worth it.

If you are adults who are kids at heart - and you must be if you're going to WDW without kids - then yes, yes, yes! Go in costume and enjoy yourselves. You definitely won't be the only ones there without kids. Enjoy the parade and the fireworks and the trick or treating and all of it! Go!

I wasn't sure what to expect when we hit it last year when we were there for the Wine & Dine 1/2 Marathon...and it was great...we did not have kids, and plenty of adults with & without kids in costume just having a blast...the parade I think is now my fav....& the fireworks are completely awesome...:sohappy:

Do it! I went for the first time last year and I had a blast. We didn't dress up because of travel to and from the resort but we really had a wonderful time people watching. Some of the costumes we saw were fantastic. The parade is amazing, lots of characters are out that we don't usually see, and the Haunted Mansion is really decked out.
Go and have a great time!

DRESS UP!!! My wife and i have gone numerous times (we are both 30). We don't have kids and it's great! To be honest makes things a lot easier too. Sure we get some weird looks when we are going from the resort to the park but that's half the fun. We have been Peter Pan and Tink, Woddie and Jessie, Alice and Mad hatter to name a few. This year it's Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head on 9/13. My wife already told me not to forget my angry eyes. Oh yeah 9/13 is also our 3 year anniversary.

it's the only time an adult can wear a costume inside the magic kingdom...for those photos alone it's worth it to me. my daughter (and youngest child) who is turning 22 soon, is so so for disney. she went with my granddaughter and myself last year and had such a great time that now since about july the two of them have been plotting to figure out group/theme costumes for this year.

Have to agree with everyone. We went last year, in costume (I dressed as a Ravenclaw student :D) and I think 95% of the people there were dressed up too. If they didnt dress up, they at least wore Halloween mickey ears or a Halloween Mickey tshirt. My fav costume was an elderly man on a scooter dressed up as a king. After I saw that I knew it was going to be a fun night. :king:
But I have to agree its the only place where seeing a grown man dressed up as Peter Pan didnt make me think twice. :ROFLOL:
If you are a kid at heart its the best. The Villians Mix n Mingle show is AWESOME especially if you love halloween. Try to get a front row seat, the pyro is intense! Plus then you will be first in line for the M&G with the villians. And yes the Headless Horseman gave me chills!! Not out of fright, but out of sheer coolness. OH and the gravediggers!!! lol
They also have a lot of rare characters out, so be on the look out for them as you walk around the park getting tons of candy!
"Boo to you and you and you. Its really not so scary..."
Have a great time!

100% do it. If for no other reason than the park is not crowded at all and you can walk onto all the rides! I'm one of four 30-somethings and we are all going this year - no kids.

I've unfortunately never been but my friends (ages 20-23) went and had an absolute blast. They said it was so much fun collecting the candy and loved the parade. Plus, dressing in costume is half the fun!!

My DH and I went to the party a couple of years ago. We felt the same way as you do and were wondering if it was just for kids. I have to say I'm very glad we went. We did not bring costumes but plenty of adults were dressed up. We did wear Mickey Halloween shirts. We also trick or treated and didn't feel at all funny about it. Where else can a 29 and holding person trick or treat and not be out of place?? And....there were hardly any lines, it was cool to ride the rides in the dark, and the parade and fireworks were awesome. Hope you decide to attend. I don't think you will be sorry. :)
