Just a precaution... these dates are still not officially posted on the Disney Site. They have been released in Disney's Flower & Garden Festival Media as beginning on Sept. 14. However, many CM's have been saying that these dates, the ones posted on Allears & wdwinfo, as well as a few other sites are Not correct.

I'm not sure who I believe, but just wanted to let everyone know that these are still Not the official Disney dates.

Also, June 1st is a while after when the tickets went on sale last year (the first week of May). However, Disney can change things like this on a whim.

I'm not trying to discredit this information...I just wouldn't make travel plans specifically around these dates.

October 1st is currently listed as a day with hours from 9am to 9pm with evening extra magic hours, not sure if that will be a party night

Please don't shoot the messenger!!

I wasn't trying to do anything of the sort. I just wanted to warn you as well as the others that these were still not official so you shouldn't plan too much around them Disney has been in the mood for making weird changes lately (like the P&P parties in August/Sept).

My wife and I plan on being at WDW for Halloween this year, I can't wait!

My wife wants to dress up as Pocahontas, can anyone tell me where the best place to get adult Disney costumes is(online or elsewhere)? We just got back from The World yesterday and we asked several CMs during the week where we could get costumes for MNSSHP and most of them didn't know and several told us that Disney discourages guests from dressing up as Disney characters while in the parks. Any advice?

Other than at MNSSHP you can Not dress up as an adult as a disney character. However, at MNSSHP you will see a lot people dressed up as characters (kids & adults).

Right now Disneystore.com and disneyoutlet.com have a few deals going on and they sometimes have adult costumes... check out mousesavers to get the promotion codes. Also, remember on the disneystore site you can use multiple discount codes at once.

Other than that, in the past I have just done a search on yahoo or whatever, for adult disney halloween costumes. Just be careful because some companies sell the same costumes as others for $20+ more. You should be able to find whatever you're looking for for under $40 for an adult costume.

If you would like any links to sites I have previously used feel free to PM me.

Hey, just to reiterate - these dates are not listed on the Disney website nor are the Guest Services people aware of them yet. In addition, I am currently making my calendar for our October trip and MK has an evening extra magic hours on one of the nights listed as a party night. I would proceed with caution.
