I am going to be there for Halloween this year. And I cant think of what to be?! I want to be something comfortable, so I was thinking an old school Mouseketeer.

Anyone got any pics of what they wore to the parties? Any suggestions?!

No pictures to share, but hubby and I were just talking about this the other day. In the hypothetical way of, if we were going to the Halloween party what would we wear. One of our ideas was as a original Mousekeeter. We saw a couple in line for the Jungle Cruise either in WDW or DL (I can't remember which) that were dressed like this and I thought it was cute.

Hmm.... back to the drawing board. I just want something comfortable to wear and since my husband is a stick in the mud when it comes to costumes, something not too elaborate for him. Although we dont have to match.

I convinced my boyfriend to go as Merlin in his 'Bermuda' outfit- so it's already board shorts, a tshirt and a hat. The main distinguishing feature is the ultra long beard (We're trying to make it as un mask-like as possible so it's still in the rules). Something easy since we own most of the clothes anyway!

If you want to stay cool you should either be Mowgli or Tarzan if you're a guy and Lilo if you're a girl. Since I am so ripped and buffed I think I will probably be Mowgli. Most people mistake me for Prince Charming in my every day life anyway. This year I think might be our first time of dressing up and my little boy wants to be Peter Pan and my little girl wants to be Tinker Bell. My wife might be Wendy but my little boy wants me to be Captain Hook. I'm not crazy about dressing up but might for the kids. I'd really like to be my hero Scrooge McDuck though.

We went last year and I dressed as Prince Eric, my wife was Ursula and our daughter was Ariel. This year I think I'm going as Gaston, our daughter as Belle and my wife as one of the country girls.

DuckTales - theres a captains hook "tshirt" on etsy... I was actually thinking of getting the peter pan or the beast on for my husby. Its made to look just like their costume.

Here's what I went with the year I went- costume hat bought from Halloween Adventure, simple mask from the same place, then a shirt, tie, and nice pants to be a Golden Age era mystery man/ superhero.

Group/couples costumes are the best.

We did Dipper/Mabel the first time we went and last time we went as a team of Red Jaguars from Legends of the Hidden Temple. We even ran into some Silver Snakes and Purple Parrots, though none of them had bothered to wear their helmets.

This year we're planning on something less obscure and will be part of a wreck it Ralph group. Well probably be one of fifty there that night.
