MNSSHP candy question

If you were at the party when it ended at midnight, then you would not have received candy at the exit. The party ends at midnight and all candy distribution stops at that time. Most people forget what time it is when they ACTUALLY leave the park...

Right, we left right at midnight, however in years past, they typically handed out larger candy bars at the exit around the same time. This year either they didn't do it on the night's we attended, or we missed it, thats all I was saying.

I think it is random... during the same year we've have them acting like Scrouge McDuck handing out candy at the exits one night and another having them dumping handfuls of candy into the stroller as if they were trying to bury our daughter in candy.

I'm not trying to argue with you, I was simply saying that you missed it. You were making a general assumption that Disney wasn't passing out candy only because you weren't there at the right time. They have passed out candy at the entrance for every single party. Like I stated before, candy ends at midnite for every single party.

Nor am I nor was I making a general assumption, initially it was just a question. However I will say they have cut corners in this year as opposed to the first party, and even last years. From what we first attended in 2005, their is less trick or treating and less special effects, just look at the event map from 05' to 10'.

I am just looking to get the most for my dollar, which in years past has not been an issue with the party, however this year it's a very close call. :D

Anyone have an update on this year's candy? I am curious if it is the same. It will be my first time going to the party and see this as a cool bonus, so excited, can't wait!

I miss when they had Wonka candy during the first years of the halloween parties...Plus during the event as it got darker it was harder to tell what you got until you got back to your hotel room where you divided out what you kept and what you gave away..
