MNSSHP cancellations?

Does Disney ever cancel parties if there aren't enough tickets sold for the event? We're going at an off time this year and are scared we'll be met with bad news when we get there.

I doubt youll ever see Disney having to cancel an event due to lack of tickets sold. If an event ever started showing a downward trend of poor attendance, then Disney would replace the entire show. MNSSHP is a phenomenal event and brings in lots of guests and lots of locals. It will be around for a long time. Youre safe... ENJOY.

Even with the poorly received Pirates & Princess parties, they let those finish out the season before putting them out to pasture.

The party is very popular (perhaps too popular and crowded) so it is not cancelled unless the weather is extreme, like the hurricane last year on Oct. 6. However, bad weather can delay or even cancel the stage shows, parade, fireworks and some of the M&Gs. If most of the party events are fully cancelled, you can go to guest relations and you MIGHT be able to get tickets for another night or some similar compensation. Don't expect a refund though unless the party is cancelled before it begins.
