To that point, last year we scored a spot on the bridge, right before the hub, where the horseman slows down to a walk. There is a roped off area that we were told by a CM is available for guest needing to sit for the parade and that we should go to guest services to secure a reservation. Might want to check that out. We did not need a seat, so w didn't go but I think it might be worth trying at least. They may even have a spot where wheelchairs are welcome to line up, will never hurt to ask, all they can say is no, right?

we will be going to the one on the 17th of September so early on. We have a dining reservation at 6pm at Biergarten in Epcot so will probably head over right around the time the party is starting.
We'll be there on the 17th as well!!! We have dining at Whispering Canyon Cafe and then will head over! So excited!!

I would try to find an earlier dining time. By the time you eat at Beirgarten and get on the monorail and into the MK you are looking at probably 8 or so. You still have lots of time at the party don't get me wrong, I just know that I wouldn't want to miss any time there, there are some exciting things you won't want to miss.

For the few times I have gone to MNSSHP, I have found that if you go closer to Halloween the CMs at the candy stations will give you more candy. But it is also busier the closer you go to Halloween.

Yep, I second that, we actually have our reservation for dinner that night at 4:30 at the Plaza, just so we don't accidentally miss anything.

One thing we always do to get seats for the parade at MK when there is a second parade (on regular nights, not party nights but were going to try it this year) is rather than stake out a spot for the first parade two hours early, we skip the first parade and then get to Main Street to watch the fireworks. As soon as they end, we pop over to the side of the road and sit our butts down on the curb. The fireworks are usually about an hour before the second parade. By the time they're done, it's now 45 minutes til parade time. MUCH easier to sit on the curb and wait 45 minutes than it is an hour and a half to two hours!!

Sorry guys, didn't mean to scare anyone, I do not know anything or have any kind of inside information, I just could have sworn that I read somewhere that they were replacing them. I am happy to be wrong.I read it on the Disneyparks site.
