Last year, Disney Parks Blog announced the dates in February, and tickets went on sale in April. FYI, the first party started on 9/15, so unless you're going way into September, you may miss the date range all together.

Where is the best place to keep an eye out for dates? Just been using google daily to check. Really wanted to know dates so I could start planning meals. Thanks

Keep watching here. It will be released when Disney releases it. Other sites (I'm not mentioning names
) will release dates wayyyyy before Disney even finalizes them. I believe this other site has already released their version of the dates. They say that the dates are from inside sources but they almost ALWAYS end up being wrong and need changing after Disney releases the actual dates. Just keep watching here.

I didn't realise it had changed? Can children still dress up? We did the WDW Party last year and the DLP Party the year before. Weirdly we saw more costumes at the Paris party than in america. But both where equally amazing. But we love WDW world more

It may change back before this year's party (I hope it does), but Disney has banned anyone over 13 years old from wearing a costume. Last I heard this included MNSSHP.
That's a real shame, but I do sort of understand. We saw Peter Pan last year and still to this day, have no idea if it was the real peter pan. He looked amazing. But that adds to all the fun of the night. My daughters must do is the Trick or treating, she insists it was the most fun she had all night and she dosent even really like sweets!

I will be attending this for the first time this year. I am going in mid October. Does anyone know how strictly they enforce the costume rules? What are the stipulations? I was hoping to dress up, but not as something that resembles an in park character. Me and my BF wanted to be Rick and Morty. They aren't Disney characters and they don't require a mask or anything.

Based on the hours released so far, MK will be closing @ 7:00pm on:
September 2, 8, 11, 13
The first date is probably Night of Joy, but I think it's safe to say September 8th will be the first party.
