MNSS Costume question...

Hello everyone! It's been quite a while since I've been here

I sifted through several pages of threads and didn't see my question addressed, sorry if I missed it...

This will be my first time going to MNSS in several years, and my first time really dressing up...I know that MK allows event guests to start arriving at 4pm, but can an adult arrive earlier in costume? My mom, who is visiting from Seattle, wants to do the whole 9am-12am thing in the park, but I'm guessing Disney probably wouldn't appreciate me showing up in my custum made Alice-in-the-parks costume any earlier than 4, and I really don't want to lug the thing around with me. Anybody have experience with this?

Adults are not allowed to be in the park in costume before the party. You can bring it with you and rent a locker. You can then change into it around 4 pm when party guests are coming in.
9 am to midnight is a long day. If you are staying on property, I would recommend going back to your room for a break and to change. The afternoons are very hot and humid. It takes a lot out of you.

This past September 18, 2010 was our first time doing this event. ZambeziZelda is corect in what she says. It was 92 degrees during the day with high humidity. The evening temps at night was very comfortable and pleasent.

it was really nice and cool the night of 9/18. much cooler at mnsshp than at howl-o-scream on the 24th. my fiance and i just went and changed into our costumes around 5:45-6:00 ish. it worked out fine.
