Mmmmm... Steaks?

If find WDW dining options (from a steak perspective) to be overrun with 'filets'.

Somehow a place is judged on if it has a filet or not. While it is tender, it also lacks a lot of flavor.

I prefer a strip or a T-bone (which of course has a 'filet' in it), but what I would really like to see is are some skirt steaks, or a hanger steak.

Leave off the sauce, just some salt and pepper, and maybe mount it with some butter at the end. I like to TASTE the steak, not have a tender mouthfull of sauce.

PhoneDave? It really sounds like Shula's is for you... they have a GREAT bone-in offering (though I haven't personally tried it) - and no sauce :). In fact, I suspect that they would be glad to prepare your steak right to your specifications :).

I agree 100%. Shula's serves steak the way it was meant to be served. No silly sauces to cover up the inferior flavor.
