MLK Week 2006 Question

Does anyone know what the crowds are like for MLK week? We are thinking about going down Jan. 13-22, 2006. We are trying to time the soft openings of EE at DAK. What are temps. like also? Does the crowds thin out after the long weekend? Thank you for the help.

That weekend should be moderate. The two weekends after that weekend are extremely empty and great times to go if you can change it to then. I do understand, however, that you are probably trying to time it around MLK weekend because of that Monday off of work/school. But if possible I'd suggest the weekend after. It shouldn't be that bad then though.

We went MLK 2005 and it was great, even had a blizzard back home that strandeded us in WDW for 2 extra days!!!!!!!

Crowds were not a problem and we are currently planning a large gathering that week for 2006.
