Same with the White Sox and Pirates. They really have about 5 too many teams at this point.
White Sox have always had decent attendance in losing years except the last 3. Who would have thought if you hired the manager of the worst team in baseball (for 2 years) and you team would go bad. They fired a bunch of others, but it will take a bit. We have been there before. I also have to add, 6$ tickets on the third base line the last few years have been nice. Parking was $20.

I remember $4.50 to go to a Dodger game with 75 cent beers, $1 Hot Dogs.
Even then we had to save up for it.
To not pay those current high prices at the ball game I use the movie theatre thinking. I eat a big meal before seeing a movie. When I see the movie I have no desire to buy that overpriced food at the concession stand. Rinse and repeat at the baseball game.

He's mad about the possibility of a salary cap because now players can't overprice themselves in the market. No more insane 700 million dollar contracts that teams can defer to the backend.

I mean, if it's similar to NHL, wouldn't that mean each team would have be like $170-$230 million (based on average revenues in hockey around $200 mil per team and MLB is almost $400 mil)? Which, HILARIOUSLY, would probably increase salaries, as the current average is like $177 million. Miami would need to spend like $100 million just to hit the floor.
