The most objective criterion for choosing the NL All-Stars this year is whether or not the player is a Brewer.
They should just send the entire Brewers roster to the all-star game and nobody else. The AL would just get embarrassed.

The Brewers seem to be having a phenomenal 8th inning, scoring 4 runs before a single out. They have taken a commanding 8-3 lead, and Khris Davis is the reason. But he still can't spell...

I wonder what the record is for MBIs (Matts Batted In). Yesterday Matt Adams knocked himself in twice with HRs, and batted in Matt Carpenter twice, and Matt Holliday once.

How about that Samardzija trade? I think that will work out for both teams pretty well, the A's in the short term, and the Cubs in the long term. Where do you guys think price will go? I would love to see him come to my hometown Pirates, but I don't think Neil Huntington is willing to mortgage the farm for a shot at the World Series this year. And Nutting wouldn't pay him next year anyway, so we would most likley have to trade him again. But wait that wouldn't actually be that bad. Trade some good prospects to get pride for the rest of this season, and then trade him in the offseason for prospects, basically giving up nothing for a half year, kind of.

The Yankees could use Price but may not have the top prospects to give the Rays.

The trade with the A's basically means the Cubs are giving up on being competitive until at least 2016. That can't be much fun for their fans.

Well the Cubs are getting a free ride to the World Series next year. Back to the Future said so.
