MK Question

How come MK does not have deals like Country Bear Christmas Special, It's a Small World Holiday and Haunted Mansion Holiday? Is it because people who come to WDW expect the original incarnations of the attractions and will be disappointed if they get another version? Kinda like the people irate at the crane next to the castle when they install the Dream Lights I guess? :xmas:

Disneyland is mainly locals. Walt Disney World is mainly tourists. Locals want a lot of change since they go often and get bored easily. Tourists want to see what everyone else sees once they finally get there.

Oh that and DL gets a TON more budget and money than WDW.

1. The overlays require downtime, and WDW management doesn't want angry tourists who couldn't see their favorite attraction.

2. WDW management is cheap and lazy.

Current management does not feel that guest numbers and spending would increase enough to offset the cost and downtime that a seasonal overlay causes. Nothing anymore complicated than that.
