MK Personalized Sidewalk Bricks

Sorry, I cannot remember the official name of the bricks you could purchase a few years back at the Magic Kingdom entrance. Anyway, my question is how can I find out the location of the brick I purchased 10 years ago? I have been there several times to try to find it, but since I lost my paperwork...it is like finding a needle in a haystack. Does anyone have any paperwork on the bricks with contact information or is there a logic to finding where yours would be located if you know the purchase date?

I also purchased those bricks twice. Once about 8 years ago and again about 5 years ago. Like you I can't find the first paper work but I did find the second. It say's if you have any question call 407-934-2990 or go to KIOSK located at the front entrance of Magic Kindom. Hope this helps.

Ask at the KIOSK :) My brick was a gift about 8-9 years ago. I did not remember the date but they took the time to search and gave me the number and a map showing where it was :sohappy:

One cavet :lookaroun They can be moved or after ten years they can be removed

Thanks for all the info. I have a feeling it is still there after all these years because I know the general area (between the flower bed closest to MK at the end of the bus stop) but it was pure madness when you had to look at each individual one to find your name. If it is not there, oh well. The person whose name is on it with me I am now divorced from. That was our anniversary gift to each other since we went on our honeymoon at WDW.

When I had started this thread a few months back I was wondering how to find my personalized brick. Well, this past September after 10 years of having the brick we finally found it. The cast member at MK guest services at the entrance was very, very helpful. They actually print the map for you, mark the area and give you the number of the brick. It was in a great location that I cannot believe I probably walked over a hundred times, but never noticed. BTW, if you need help with finding yours make sure you know exactly what the brick says because that is how they looked it up in the computer. :)

As I had posted earlier I could only find 1 paper work. I ended up finding both and went to the "City Hall" @ MK to ask where exactly the last brick I purchased was located. She stated that it was the worst map she ever saw and went to the computer to locate it. She couldn't find it. So she left again for almost 30 minutes and came back with a new map and number. Apparently my map and number was wrong. We had to take the monarail to the main ticket area to find the brick. We had a heck of a time finding it but finally did. So I took pictures of the brick and even had the 2 kids lay down next to there brick, so I could take there picture laying next to the brick with there names on it.

I hope they find another area and continue selling bricks. I'd love to have one for my Dad. I'm sure I'll see it here first if the program begins again !

Sometimes there is no one in the kiosk. We were directed to to stroller rental booth, which basically did the same thing as everyone else - print a map (we got a photocopy), give you the brick number, and show you it's location.

That is why I went to the "City Hall" @ MK because the kiosk was closed. I was told the "City Hall" had the information about the bricks by the cm's.

Just to set things strait, space is not the issue. The Walk around the world is not even finished yet. The reason they stoped selling brinks was to sell more leave a legacy tiles instead. These are much cheaper to produce and put in place, therefore much higher profits. Space was never an issue with the bricks.
