MK construction site quest book?

I've heard a rumor that when the Magic Kingdom was originally under construction you could visit the site and there was a guest book you could sign.

Does anyone know if this is true and if Disney has that book on display anywhere?

Well, there was the Walt Disney World Preview Center, located on what is now Hotel Plaza Blvd. (the building is now used as the Amateur Athletic Union Headquarters) I wouldn't be surprised if they had a guest book of some sort. If so and if it survived, it's probably in the archives in Burbank, in the WDW Library and Research Center, or lost to time in a random filing cabinet somewhere on property.
