MK barber shop question

Hello everyone! My DS and I are in desparate need of a haircut and I thought that it would be fun to get a haircut at the MK barbershop. Does anyone know how late the barbershop is open?

We'll be arriving at PORS next Friday evening, staying through June 10th. In an effort to save some $$, we only have 4 day hoppers. We were gonna hit TL on Sat and Star Wars weekends at Disney-MGM on Sunday. I will be in a conference during the weekdays and won't be able to make it to the MK until around 6pm. To maximize time in the park for me, we were planning on going to the MK the following Wed due to EMH. Is the barbershop open during normal park hours? Will it be too crowded to actually get a haircut around 6pm or will it have smaller wait times by then? Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks.

Thats cheaper than what I pay at home for a haircut nice stuff.I seriously doubt that the barbers at MK scream profanities in italian though, lol.

My son got his first haircut in MK! It was a neat experience. We only had to wait for one person ahead of us, around 12 noon on a Saturday in June. But it didn't seem like a wait at all, because the Dapper Dans kept us entertained!

Although allears.net says the barber shop is open 9-5, I have had problems finding them open after the afternoon parade.

The best suggestion I can give, and this from someone who gets his and his son's hair cut EVERY trip, is this: arrive early. I have waited an hour for a haircut because the line gets long.

Thanks for the information! I was also wondering - are you allowed/supposed to tip?

My husband gets his haircut there every 3-4 months. It just works out with our vacations. Yes, you do tip. He usually gives a $3-4 tip. Maura and Michael are the best. Their schedules just changed. It's alot of fun :)
