Hi i'm new here on this forum so first Hi from Belgium.

I visit WDW this april. On our first night there is het Magic Kingdom After Hour event. I was wondering if you can watch the fireworks outside MK and if they also stream the audio like regular firework shows? I'm a big fan of fireworks so i hope to see the special 50th anniversary show. Because it's our first day i think were gonna be a bit jetlagged so buying a ticket for the entire evening won't be a good idea.

Are there placed recommended to watch this show and maybe some other special places to watch HEA later that week? And at wich time does the firework run?

Thank you so much for you're advice and sorry for my bad English.

Welcome! Your English is perfectly fine!

You can see the fireworks from several of the hotels in the MK area and they do usually pipe the sound in. I would suggest making dinner reservations at either the Contemporary or Polynesian. If you want to make it VERY special, eat at the California Grill at the Contemporary and you can watch the fireworks from the roof. Fireworks times vary, so check the My Disney Experience app for the times on the day you’ll be there.

Have a great trip!

I love the fireworks too! My current favorite is the boat dock at the Grand Floridian - they do pipe in the music and it’s a lovely view with fireworks reflecting in the water.

After the fireworks you can take a boat back to Magic Kingdom and take a bus back to your resort hotel.
