MK 50th Question

I'm sorry if this has been asked and answered already. I did search, just in case.

I was wondering if, by some chance, the party would start in October 2020 and run through 2021. Last night, I had a friend say the rumor is it will start October 2021 and run through December 2022. Has anyone else heard anything? Why would it start when the 50th anniversary is almost over?

The 50th is October 2021 so it would be at the beginning if it started then.

I would still think it would last longer than a year as they did with the 25th.

If it ran from October 2021 through December 2022, that would make it 14 months.

I believe the last rumor/report was it would run from Summer 2021 through 2022. Similar to the Disneyland 60th.

Going to go ahead and say this, Assuming there will even be a big year or so long Anniversary Celebration... WDW hasn’t had a big Celebration in many many years!
Maybe this one they are forced to break the very long drought of big year round Celebration.... we shall see.
