Hello all!

Can't stay long, we're off to the in-law's tonight.

I finished off the last of your cookies Bonny. They were yummy!

Have you tried the Berger cookies yet? Were they any good after traveling a thousand miles?

I hope Freddy's having a nice time in Boston.
I've never been there.

Boston is GREAT! My brother and his wife lived there for several years before relocating to sunnier Miami. My husband and I actually went there on our honeymoon - Mystic, Connecticut, too.

I've never been to New England at all.
I know I would love it.
I would like to visit Cape Cod and Nantucket.
And Boston.
Someday, maybe.

So far, so good!

Good!

I got some well needed gardening done this afternoon when I got home from work. My poor little peat pots were starting to get root-bound. I just didn't have time to do them before we left.

Ah, there's the hubby calling. Off to the in-laws we go!

Night all!

Mystic is really interesting. One of the many things I loved about it is that when the drawbridge goes up (in the middle of town), the ENTIRE PLACE comes to a complete and total standstill - no traffic moving anywhere. If you live and/or work there, you've got to plan your entire schedule around that.

The re-creation of the seaport village itself is fascinating...we took our kids there when they were in elementary school, and they loved it. The best part was touring the clipper ship (and learing to sing the old sea chanteys, too - language and all! )
