Kristin-thank you for the kind words, losing Cody was awful beyond words....I still miss him every day. The hardest part right now is that MJ really wants a sibling and we have no way to make that happen.... Unless the Extreme Home Makeover we are being nominated for comes through, then maybe we could.....but I am not holding my breath on that one, they get a ton of applications everyday...

Yes, they do, but I find it hard to believe that there are a lot of people more deserving! Keep the faith - and remember that the rest of us are ALSO keeping it for you!

I wish all the best to you with the Extreme Home Makeover. You guys have an amazing story and after all that you've been through, I can't think of anyone more deserving. Let us know if you get picked, so we can all watch the show.

Kristina (the gal who is nominating us) gave me permission to give you her email address if you want to talk to her about sending letters to EHM on our behalf. The actual application is long (of course) and had to be mailed in, so I think she wants to collect any letters anyone wants to send and print them to go with the application. I do know that a few people are writing them. We will be working on the video this week and next week and Krisitna is writing the Application this week. Her email is Mama2ThomasReed@aol.com

I cannot believe the mistake that was made with Cody. I've no words for that one.

You don't realise what a wonderful person you are though! I work for my Local Authority in the Adoption Team and we have such problems placing children with Physical or MH Issues, or even just older children.

Our couples get a say in what type of child they are looking for (their approval) and of course most go for children with no problems, aged under three.

75% of our adopters are approved for Children under 3.
75% of our children are aged over 3.

That you adopted MJ is so heartwarming, I want to give you many *huggles*!

I just wish more of our adopters were as open minded....
