Not bad.
Et toi?

I'm okay.
Our nephew's wife recently had twin boys.
I met them today for the first time.
Ryan is easy going and sweet-tempered.
Connor is happy only when he is the center of attention.
Must be the name.

Too many posts to catch up on. I miss anything interesting?

I'm just back from the BBC gig. Quite and interesting and fun day. we started at about 9:30 AM and by 7:30 PM were were performing and recording five new radio plays before a full house at the Bristol Old Vic Studio theatre.

The hardest thing for me was learning five new (to me) songs, complete with harmony. Three of us were pretty much getting together with the musician at any spare time to go over the songs. However one of the tunes (but the not the lyrics) I recognised from The American Adventure:

"In the days of '76, my boys, we never must revere
That every man takes his musket up and fight for freedom dear.
We'll hit the flanks Of the Redcoats' ranks as Yankee volunteers.
Oh, tis a great delight to march and fight, But it's getting tough, I fear..."

The original song is called "The Lincolnshire Poacher"

"When I was bound apprentice in famous Lincolnshire
Full well I served my master for more than seven year
Till I took up to Poaching as you shall quickly hear
Oh tis my delight on a shiny night in the season of the year"

The shows went really well and will be broadcast on BBC Radio Bristol over the next few weeks.

Sounds like a great day, Joe!

Sounds like fun Joe? Will we ever hear them over here?

...didn't I tell you to plant that money tree?!?...

I must have missed that memo too... (i never knew just how expensive kids were until I saw the price of diapers) yikes! and i know it's only going to get worse - i was looking at (a very depressing) survey the other day that says by the time Elizabeth is in College - the average cost of a BA will be $150K - now that's a crazy thought...

*note to self: up monthy deposit into Lizzy's college fund to twice my mortgage* :lookaroun
