I'm sorry Krystyna.. we have about 8 Dr appts scheduled for the next month, ugh...

Did everything turn out ok in the end?

I'm really fair skinned, and this is the second set of suspicious moles I'm going to be removing to have biopsied. But the actual removal won't happen till May. This was just the "Oh, there they are. See you in a month" exam.

Good afternoon all - housework is as done as it's going to be for a while - Easter baskets are ready, birthday present for "other" son is wrapped.
Time for a break!

Don't rub it in. :lookaroun

I've got a yard that needs to be mulched, leaves to rake, and bathrooms to clean when I get home. That's the one thing I hate about going away - it all accumulates while you're gone.

GO. It's not too bad. If you can survive the GYN, you can easily survive the Dermatologist. I'm sure your kids want you around for many more years! :)

Plus, it'll be a load off your mind! Check you local hospital for free screenings.

I don't know anybody who is

I've been taking digital pictures of a few of my more suspisious moles, to see if they've been changing. Two are growing, and it's really scary.

Taking photos is a great idea - I think I'll do that from now on. Do you take them monthly?

I try to take them every month, but that doesn't always happen. Just as long as you have a baseline picture to compare them to, you could take as few as 3 a year. Just as long as you keep an eye on them, my doctor says.
